PRODUCTION AREA: Two distinct vineyard plots owned by the company: Le Prata, facing south-west at an altitude above sea level of 507 meters and La Torre with a south-east exposure at 420 asl., which, after being fermented and aged individually, come to the bottle in a single solution.

PHILOSOPHY: a Rosso di Montalcino intended as Brunello younger brother, coming from the same vineyards, whose we declass almost half of the production that will undergo long natural fermentations of 40 days carried out only by our native yeasts and a 12 months aging in 30/50 hl barrels in Slavonian oak. Our Rosso is not filtered.
WEATHER CONDITIONS: The first half of the spring was hotter and drier than average, the month of May instead was marked by frequent rains, which made possible the establishment of a substantial water reserve in view of what has been one of the hottest summers of the last years. Our characteristic thermal excursion, well distributed rains during the growing season and perfect conditions during the harvest time have resulted in perfect ripeness and excellent health of the grapes.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14,00% vol.
What is immediately striking is the complexity of this deeply ruby colored 2019 Rosso di Montalcino.A wide range of primary and secondary aromas of cherry, little red fruits, licorice and wood, together with firm but silky tannins will ensure a long and beautiful evolution to this little Brunello.
