PHILOSOPHY: a Rosso di Montalcino intended as Brunello younger brother, coming from the same vineyards, whose we declass almost  half of the production that will undergo long natural fermentations of  40 days carried out only by our native yeasts and a 12 months aging in 30/50 hl barrels in Slavonian oak. Our Rosso is not filtered.

WEATHER CONDITIONS: A more rainy and certainly a more typical vintage than the previous, where it was necessary a continuous   attention in the vineyard during the growing season. Excellent weather conditions during the harvest and our characteristics thermal excursion have made possible an ideal maturation of the grapes, wich gave us a juicy and cellarable Rosso di Montalcino.

TASTING NOTES

Deep ruby red color and cherries and violets aromas act as overture to   a broad mouthfeel, voluptuous and smooth characterized by minerality and a long finish.

A pleasant and enjoyable wine right now, but it will reward those who have the patience to wait.
