COOKIE POLICY – EXTENDED INFORMATION

With reference to the measure “Identification of simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies” (published in the Official Gazette no. 126 of June 3, 2014), the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data has identified simplified ways to give users the on line information on the use of cookies and provided directions to obtain consent, when required by law.

To protect users’ privacy and allow them more informed choices, the Guarantor has therefore determined that, when accessing the home page or another page of a website, an indication must become immediately visible, in which it is stated:

  • that the site uses profiling cookies to send targeted advertising messages (if used);
  • the site may also send “third party” cookies, i.e. cookies installed by a different site through the site that is being visited (if used);
  • a link to an extended cookie policy, with the indications of the use of cookies sent from the site, where it must also be shown how to disable the acceptance of cookies by the browser;
  • the indication that by continuing the navigation (e.g., by accessing another area of the site or by selecting an image or a link) the users consent to the use of cookies.
  • Under Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Code concerning the protection of personal data) GIUSEPPE GORELLI e GIGLIOLA GIANNETTI provides the following information about the cookies installed on the domain www.lepotazzine.com or other domains accessible through the Site.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files that are sent to the user’s terminal equipment (computer, tablet, smartphone, notebook) by visited websites; they are stored in the user’s terminal equipment to be then re-transmitted to the websites on the user’s subsequent visits to those websites.

Cookies are used for IT authentication, to monitor browsing sessions and store information on users (Certain operations could not be performed, or would be much more complex, without “technical” cookies,). But through cookies it is possible also track browsing, collect data on tastes, habits, personal choices that allow the reconstruction of detailed consumer profiles.

Technical cookies essential to the operation of the website

This website uses session and persistent cookies in order to offer a more efficient service to users. The use of such cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to provide the services and functions of the website fully.

Those who do not wish to keep these cookies can delete them after browsing simply by going to the privacy settings of the browser and selecting the option to delete cookies.
As indicated by the Guarantor, technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service, explicitly requested by the subscriber or user, to provide the service ”; the same Guarantor indicates that “for the installation of these cookies prior consent by the user is not required.”
