PRODUCTION AREA: Two distinct vineyard plots owned by the company: Le Prata, facing south-west at an altitude above sea level of 507 meters and La Torre with a south-east exposure at 420 asl., which, after being fermented and aged individually, come to the bottle in a single solution. PHILOSOPHY: always ambassadors of the Montalcino tradition, aimed at reflecting the elegance of the pure Sangiovese, through long spontaneous fermentations lasting 30/35 days carried out only by our native yeasts and extended aging of 42 months in big 30/50 hl barrels in Slavonian oak.
WEATHER CONDITIONS: A rainy winter, when the vines were able to build up a proper water reserve, was followed by a regular spring and a warm summer. In September, idilliac weather conditions during the harvest and the thermal excursion due to the altitude of our vineyards, gave the birth to one of the most excting vintage of the new millennium.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14,00%
The wonderful vintage is perfectly reflected by the harmony and the elegance of this Brunello, by the silky tannins and by the lenght of the aftertaste, savory and smooth.
The color is the traditional one of the Sangiovese from Montalcino, bright red with the typical garnet nuance.
On the nose the floral notes interweave with red berries, forming a fascinating and seductive bouquet, in perfect tune with the equilibrium and the grace of the mouth.
